Marketplace Role & Neutrality

ResinSurplus functions as a listing and inquiry platform, not a broker, agent, or escrow service.

We do not take ownership of materials
We do not process payments
We do not negotiate final commercial terms on behalf of either party

All transactions, pricing, logistics, and agreements are handled directly between buyers and sellers.

Supplier Standards & Listings

We work with producers, distributors, compounders, and recyclers across the plastics supply chain.

Listing Practices

Listings are reviewed prior to publication
Required fields ensure consistency across process, polymer, condition, and specs
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listing information

Verified Suppliers
Some suppliers may display a “Verified” designation based on internal review, historical participation, or documentation provided. Verification does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of performance.

Material Transparency

Listings may include:

Material condition (Prime, Wide-Spec, Off-Spec, Reprocessed, Regrind)
Key specifications (MI/MFR, density, color, additives)
Certifications (FDA, UL, REACH, RoHS), where applicable
COA availability

Buyers are encouraged to request COAs, samples, and additional documentation prior to purchase.

Data Handling & Privacy

RFQ and form submissions are used solely for marketplace operations
We do not sell user data or contact lists

Fair Use & Conduct

To maintain a productive marketplace environment:

Misrepresentation of material or intent is not permitted
Automated scraping or misuse of listing data is prohibited
Repeated bad-faith inquiries may result in restricted access

ResinSurplus reserves the right to remove listings or restrict accounts that violate platform guidelines.

Large Volume & Assisted Deals

For certain large-volume or complex surplus situations, ResinSurplus may provide optional deal facilitation services. These services are offered transparently and separately from standard listings.

Participation in facilitated deals is optional and subject to agreed-upon terms.
